Memory League World Championships 2022: Best Score At International Names / Bronze Medal overall

I am very happy to announce that I have managed to win the Bronze medal at the 4th Memory League World Championships, hosted on memoryleague.com. The World Championships, held in January 2022, were the culmination of the 2021/2022 Memory League World Tour, a collection of league seasons and large tournaments (“Slams”) were world ranking points could be earned at every corner.

After having won the 1st and 3rd World Championships, it was a tough fight this time. In the end, the only person to beat me was the later world champion and athlete extraordinnaire, Alex Mullen. Alex is a great guy and it is always a true pleasure to compete with him. After I had beaten him in May of 2021 in a very memorable match with 6-0, he got the better of me this time. I am already looking forward to our next meeting in the Memory League arena :).

Looking back at the World Championship, I am also very happy about having achieved the best score of all competitors in the “International Names” discipline (see the screenshot above), besting such legends as Katie Kermode in the process.

All in all, a fantastic event and I am eager to take part in the next edition of the Memory League World Championships!
